Auditing

IMS staff can conduct both management system and EHS compliance audits.

Compliance audits are conducted to ensure that an organization�s operations are in compliance to relevant EHS legislation and regulations (federal , provincial and municipal) as well as any permits and approvals.

Management system audits are used to determine the effectiveness of an existing management system against an organization�s documented system and the requirements of ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001 and/or OHSAS 18001. 

IMS staff include a Certified Environmental Auditor (CEA) and an EMS (Lead Auditor) as designated by the Canadian Environmental Auditing Association.
